The Dogie Trail
After hiking for about 3 miles we stopped for lunch.
It is still about 2 miles to the creek, but we will be turning back.
The views are fantastic from here. To this point I would consider the hiking easy.
A look farther into the canyon.
We have crossed a few washes and at least one tank. The grass was still laying down in the tank. Possibly there had been water there recently?
There was evidence of life all around. Lots of flowers, but we did not see any wildlife.
