The Emily Proctor Trail

We started our photo session here. It's quite a hike just to get to this sign. The trail had not been snowshoed on so it was a little more work.

My always dependable friend Erika joined me for another adventure.

The temperatures were in the mid 20's so we did not need to bundle up as much. I was already removing gear to stay cool!

Over my left shoulder is The Emily Proctor Trail. It follows the right side of the river into the Breadloaf Basin and eventually near the peak in the background.

We stayed on the trail until the river crossing then headed for the hills to the right.

Heading for the hills

This hike was more agressive in areas than other hikes we've done, mostly breaking a trail through untouched snow with some steep terrain.
